I specialize in working with clients (adolescents and adults) impacted by trauma and complicated family systems. I am uniquely qualified to guide you towards the understanding and awareness necessary for healing and change. When we sit together, I will share the wisdom of my years, the depth of my heart, and the joy in my soul.
You may be overwhelmed with caretaking, over functioning, are in transition, and/or struggle with self-care. You might be a teenager questioning your identity, struggling with judgement from peers and deeply troubling feelings that you think must be face alone.
Together we can build a safe and trusting relationship where you can explore and work through the issues that are holding you back from being at peace, fulfilled, and self-directed. I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches that are informed by listening to the client’s needs and unique life experience.
My approach to helping clients is informed by my prior clinical work in school-based settings, community-based mental health organizations and private practice. My clinical experience includes extensive work with trauma (PTSD and complex trauma), addiction, substance use, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, and major life transitions including end- of-life experiences.
I enjoy life’s simple pleasures – time with family and friends, a good book, being outdoors, meditation and walking my dog.
