I believe every person experiences and relates to the world in a unique way, and that life is a process of growth that brings both challenges and opportunities. Through my work in education and early intervention, and in urban and rural communities in Peru and across the United States, I have developed a collaborative and culturally sensitive approach to working with clients.
Drawing on my training in human development and a relational clinical orientation, I see personal growth and healing as happening within meaningful relationships and the communities where we live. I help clients navigate life’s challenges and transitions, and I approach each person with curiosity, respect, and a genuine interest in their stories, strengths, challenges, and hopes.
I am a bicultural, Spanish-bilingual associate therapist and offer sessions in both English and Spanish. When I moved to San Francisco in 2019, I immediately felt at home and pursued my longtime goal of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and have experience in deaf education and infant and early childhood mental health consultation.
I completed my clinical training with the Infant-Parent Program at UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where I worked with children, families, and perinatal parents. At One Life Counseling, I now work with high school and college students at Peninsula Bridge.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing the cajón (a percussion instrument from Peru), spending time in nature, and exploring the city on foot.
If you’re looking for a space to feel seen and understood, I’d love to connect.
