Nichole Kohake
Clinical Social Worker Trainee
Nichole is a social worker trainee who is passionate about helping people feel supported, connected, and empowered. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Spanish from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Her professional experience includes supporting adults experiencing homelessness and individuals with developmental disabilities, experiences that have strengthened her commitment to meeting people where they are, building meaningful relationships, and helping individuals navigate challenges and recognize their own strengths.
Community involvement has also been an important part of Nichole’s life. She has spent many years actively involved in her children’s schools and volunteering throughout the Redwood City community. Across her professional, volunteer, and personal experiences, Nichole is drawn to opportunities that allow her to connect with people from different backgrounds, listen to their stories, and provide meaningful support to individuals and families.
Outside of work, Nichole enjoys spending time with her family including their wonderful and mischievous dog. She loves traveling, spending time with friends, and baking—especially her award-winning banana chocolate chip muffins!
