The struggles that bring us to therapy rarely come neatly defined. What feels like one thing can be tangled up with another, and even when we have a familiar name for what we are going through, that name tells only part of our story. Relationships, culture, past experiences, and even the state of the world can shape how a struggle is uniquely felt. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand the fuller story, and consider where you would like to go from here.
My approach combines attentive exploration with practical support shaped by each client’s needs and circumstances. Drawing on client-centered, depth-oriented, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused approaches, I seek to create a steady and caring space that supports each person’s own capacity for healing and growth. I respect the trust and vulnerability involved in beginning therapy, and honor the unique journey that has brought you here. Together, we can shape goals that are meaningful to you and sustainable in your daily life, building on the strengths and resources you already bring.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in publishing and education. I am also a mother, a Buddhist, and a passionate reader. These parts of my life invite me to approach each encounter with curiosity, humility, and creativity, as my work with clients continues to teach me to do.
